HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

I think this post come kinda late. But no matter what i have to start a post addressing to the new year first before anything else!!!

I have not been updating, due to me feeling very stagnent and just not feel like doing anything. Actually there is so much things on my mind that i want to blog about, but just couldnt get my mind and fingers working. Firstly, was suppose to blog about chongjialina party at yuheng house. Then suppose to blog about the end of the year, also never. Still got so many inner thoughts, but just couldnt get myself into it.

I just hope this year will be a much much much much much better year for me. Last year was really quite a mess. So disorganised, no goals, no aims! JUST A MESS!!

Some new year resolutions that i have for 2009, i realised new year resolutions is more about what i want to gained, not about what i want to buy! haha!

- FIND A JOB! (have already completed this just today!)
Will be working with the CPF board starting from tomorrow.

- SAVE UP!
Have a proper plan of how much i am spending for the month and etc.. NEED TO GET A ORGANISER!

- LOSE MORE WEIGHT!
More gym, more swim, more jog! Less eat, less laziness! Have to get myself moving man! I still havent reach my upcoming handsome goal! haha!

-MORE SKILLS!
Driving is a must for this year la! Then cooking - have been saying this for so long BUT still havent even attend one lesson yet. GIFT WRAPPING! - Have been really interested in this recently, saw some really nice and customised gift wrap, i am going to surely learn it for this year!

Throught the year 2008, i have really learnt quite a few things. I somehow realised all those values that i have hold on to for so long seems to be what i really want myself to be in the future. I should really start treating myself better than others. This is the world, people are selfish, seldom do you people that are selfless. Helps are all strings attached.

Jealous

From secondary school to jc to army, i always put in my heart to help out people i love, help out people i think they deserve in my life. This is because i always though its a virtue to help people, and zhu ren wei kuai le zi ben. But i realise i always end up feeling unhappy about it, because....

I cant stand people better than me. I cant stand people doing better than me. I cant stand people being better than me. Despite all of these, i still help people as much as i could everytime.

But why doesnt i get all the good things, why is it me ending up being the one feeling like shit. WHY! WHY! WHY!

"Overseas"

Finally went "overseas" with my group of best friends after so much of talk but no action! Not far this time, but at least we manage to go over to malaysia just to celebrate both yuklum and jolene birthday. We met up early in the morning to take a bus from woodlands straight into JB. The theme for the day is WHITE!

When we reach the custom, We were really amazed by the crowd. Luckily we are able to just scan our passport at the singapore custom due to the new system. IDIOT FRIENDS still say i am a drag to the group cause i didnt have the new passport, BUT i clearly remember me using the system when i went over to tioman that time. HAHA!!! Anyway, the worst part of the trip is at the malaysia custom. NO AIRCON, CROWDED, WARM, SLOW, FRUSTRATING! OMG!! I really dont understand why they cant do anything to revamp their custom, its such a turn off for people going into their country.

When we finally reached JB after one hour of waiting, we immediately had our lunch there. Then we shop around at city square and holiday plaza after that. We were depesrately looking for the NICE DVD there while cl and jo were having their manicure.

We went to a vey nice retuarant for our dinner at the peking house. First time eating such with my dear friends. But was quite irritated when we were arguing on what to ordered, shouldnt we compromise a bit? Haha! Whatever the case, it was still quite a enjoyable dinner, however cl got a really bad gastric pain, and yuheng still say its such she is jsut unlucky! haha

HAPY BIRTHDAY YUKLUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ORD

It has been a very very long time since i last blog. Just couldnt find the motivation to blog, or rather i am just too lazy to think of what i have to write. But i finally found a little bit of urge to write something. There is just too much things on my mind, and i guess i will just start with the big event that just happen in my life, which is my Operational Ready Date(ORD)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These bloody and slow 2 years of National Service had finally finished. Throught these 2 year, i learnt a lot, gained a lot, lost a lot.

I learnt how to be much more independant these two years, i learnt how important my family is to me, i learnt how to communicate with people more, i learnt how to cherish people around me more, i learnt how to be more organised, i learnt how to dive, and the list goes on.

I gain new strong friendships, i gain more confident of myself, i gain more respect, i gain new knowledges, and the list goes on.

I lost a lot of weight, i lost a lot of sweat.

To really think back, a lot of things really take place within these short 2 years. I am really pleased that my this 2 years past so smoothly without much setbacks and obstacles. I guess is because i had really good superior, colleagues and friends around me.

People always complaint how sucky army can get, but i think there is definitely a good part of army that you cant get it in the outside world. Seriously, i of course wont want to go throught this 2 years again, once in a lifetime is enough. =)

ORD is just the end of one part of my life, now is the new beginning, the more challenging one ahead of me.

Escape

This weekend had been quite exciting for me, did a lot of things at one shot.

Book out on saturday at around 2 plus and immediately had to plan a very impromtu birthday celebration for justin. Me and yuklum was cracking our brain deciding on what to eat and end up deciding to go to zhen fu cai. Taste the same, Service the same, just with different people going with me this time. haha! Then we went to meet chuluan after her work to blow the birthday cake. We sing birthday song just directly at the entrance of tangs, it was quite a wierld place to sing, but as always, i am always the one singing the loudest.

Sunday, me and weishun decided to go to suntec, yuheng tagged along after being ps by friend. For two purpose, weishun to get his coldwear for japan, me to get my iphone at the singtel christmas fair held at the convention hall. End up, weishun didnt get his coldwear cause he realised its redundant to get another set. I didnt get my iphone too because the queue was bloody long, 6 hours just to get it. Met up with russell and james for movie Masdagascar 2 at cinileisure. I personally think the movie was ok only, for some part of the movie i had to actually make myself laugh and i dozed of at one part of the movie!

After separating with them due to them going to book in, i went to meet the girls for some kbox session. My throat was really not in condition, cant even reach my high notes properly! ALL thanks to james lui for his infectious virus.

This year i celebrated my birthday on Friday 31/10/08 at downtown east again, with my family and my dear friends.

I have a lot of people to thank for my chalet. Firstly, my dad and mum who helped me a lot with the preparation of the food even though they are very busy with their work. Secondly, my best friends who helped me with some parts of the chalet; yuheng and liwen who helped me brought down the food in the afternoon; yuklum for getting the cake. Thirdly, all the people who had came down to celebrate it with me of course:
