Yuheng's 21st Birthday

Woooohoooooo!!!!!! haha! I haven't blog for freaking long. Two main activity just past by and I havent got the time to blog about it!

First up, Yuheng's 21st birthday. haha! Lots of money and efforts were spent by us just for the private birthday party! Yuheng refuse to let us claim for all the stuff that we bought for the picnic!

This time, I baked a cake. This is like the first time I actually baked a cake. I have couples of experience with baking but all times were with cookies. So I was quite scared it wouldn't be successful. But end up I thought it turn out to be a pretty nice cake. haha! I finished the cake and all the cleaning till 3AM! Next morning, I woke up earlier again to make the sushi for the picnic.

The picnic was interesting, cause we havent done somethingike that before. The picnic was at botanic garden. Only thing bad about the picnic is that it is damn HOT! Other than that, it was another fun and eating gathering for us.

We then went up to angel's (whatever) at demseyl hill. Hmmm, totally not a place for us, but definitely a new experience. Is like the place is too glam and too expensive. How will one even enjoy it if we are not willing to spend right. But again, its still fun to begin with. We then proceed to ben and jerry for some ice cream time! I just love ice cream!

After that, yuheng's relative and bom pi came and we proceed to Dome to cut the cake! I just love cake also! haha! The cake was cute on the exterior!

anyway, even though its damn late, i still have to wish,

A brief post about my trip to melbourne

27/05/09
We reached the airport around 830pm to prepare the check in and all. Everything was smooth and steady. The hilarious thing is we started taking photo at the airport like we were some tourist.





28/05/09
We took the plane from emirates and it took us 7 hours to reach the Melbourne international airport. We then took a cab to the city to my brother's apartment. The cab rate is really omg. It's like almost 10cents/sec. We reach the city with a outstanding amount of $80, just to reach the city. Haha.






When we reached my brother's apartment, he was still at home waiting for us before he can go to the school. My brother brought us to a shanghai dumpling restaurant for our first meal, then he proceeded to his school and we started shopping around the city. We went to Melbourne central to walk around and went to the supermarket to get some grocery. Haha.

We then immediately went back to sleep till 5pm plus then we took the city circle tram. It's free. Then we meet my brother again for dinner. We went to a famous ice cream shop and then a Thai resturant for dinner.




29/05/09
We went to the queens Victoria market early in the morning. We spent more than half a day there. And we ate a lot of donut that was fried on the spot. All the products there are humongous.






We then went to Collins street where all the branded shop were. It's only 5pm but the city already darken and felt like 10pm. Again we met my brother for dinner. This time we went to sophia's pizza restaurant, the portion of food there is really generous compared to Singapore's restaurant(what a shame!).

30/05/09
My aunt made some calculations, and we found out that it is more affordable to rent a car rather than following a day tour to the Great Ocean Road. It is a really whinning road. We had our lunch at a fish restaurant along the trip. We then went the to visit the Twelve Apostles and two other place which I totally forgotten the name.










31/05/09
My uncle drove again today, we went to the Phillip island. Haha. Went to quite a lot of places there. Firstly the chocolate factory.



Then the heritage farm. Nothing special about this place. Just that you can see a lot of farm animal.



Then the koala bear conservation farm.




Then the penguin parade. We were not allowed to take any photograph there to prevent frightening the penguins. But they were really cute! The place where we waited for their return were freaking cold.

We then went to the casino! Yes la! Even thought I lost 20 bucks. My brother say it's ok. Just for the thrill. Haha!

Nothing special today, my aunt and family went to the underwater aquarium. However me and mum didn't follow. We went shopping at the city again. Melbourne central, myer, QV. The most surprising thing is that I saw Hema there!

We went to the queen Victoria market again. That place is so big that you can't finish walking in 1 day. We then went to the city again, to get sovenior, chocolate, chips and Tim tam etc. We went to a famous chocolate cafe there. It's damn nice.




03/06/09
We did nothing today except packing our luggage and also to rest. Went to the airport in the evening to check in. However there was some problem with the emirates air plane and there a super long delay. We were then accomodated in a hotel and were then planned to take the plane next morning.

04/06/09
Reached back Singapore in the late afternoon. Home sweet home.

Some time back when I was still in army and I was having dinner with Russell and the rest.

I asked Russell, "Eh, Why you can have meal and do things alone one ah?"

He replied, "Because I feel secure being alone, don't need others to prove my existance."


Can't remember what exactly he say, but it was along that line. I thought that answer was damn cool. I was thinking why can someone be so secure about himself? Even though he was quite a extremist in his own thinking, Haha!

Anyway, come to think of it, I had been someone who was very insecure about myself. Always thinking about what others think about me, what others say about me and etc. But I started to change as I aged, becoming to be able to be more secure about myself and not always thinking about what others people think about me. In another word, more matured in thinking.

But why would one be insecure about oneself? Not sure myself, but I think this kind of things is more of the emotional aspect. They tend to think more and wants everyone attention. They want to know everything under the tree, they feel insecure if others are talking about some stuff that he/she don't know. They just afraid to be alone. haha!

Sounds like me right? But that was in the past. I have more things to do rather than thinking about all these!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VIVI! (DAMN COOL)

haha! This post came one day late, but better than nothing right?

Firstly, to show off my creativity again, another personalise gift. This is definitely as big scale as liwen's book, but I also took time for this k! I wanted something different for everybody! Its ABSOLUTE VIVI!

We reach Pasir Ris Park around 5pm, then started moving things and setting up the place. Damn tiring, were sweating all the way until the sunset. Managed to took some nice photo with the sunlight.

Updates

Omg! It has been a freaking long time since I last updated! Haha! That shouldn't be the case since I am quite free. Anyway my life have been quite excited so far. A few major things happen, but I just could not find the feeling to update.

21/05/09-23/05/09:

Went to genting with my lovely yet irritating friends. Haha! Had lots of fun there. I think this was the first trip we had out of Singapore together. As usual, it was quite hard to get this trip to be successful. There is always a few of us trying to make things difficult!

27/05/09-04/06/09:

Went to melbourne with my mum and my aunt's family. Firstly, to visit my brother who is stuying for the last year there, secondly of course as a holiday. The whole trip is totally awesome and fun. Don't think I will be updating on the whole trip(some other time).

After returning from melbourne:

Was trying very hard to get back to life in Singapore! Haha! Firstly weather is freaking hot. I was also quite paranoid about getting swine flu. I dread going back to work also.

Recently, I really have become a apple fanboy. I am really going crazy over my iPhone. Even though it is after 3 months after I have got my iPhone, it am still hype about it. The new iPhone 3.0 OS is out today officially! I crazily want a macbbok pro also. I won't be geetig other laptop other than that!

I NEED MORE FRIENDS WITH IPHONE!!! PLEASE ALL GO GET ONE! ITS JUST DAMN GOOD!
